This place is really relaxed and has an authentic beach feel to it. The rooms are basic but large and it doesn't feel crowded at all.
The beach is great.

But what makes this place best is the staff and the food. The staff are great: they are attentive, fun and talkative. They were a big part of our lovely experience in Sri Lanka. Great people! The food is by far the best we have had in Sri Lanka. There is no MSG in the food and it is all cooked in a natural way.

Kamals cooking is awesome, you can get your excercise on a long stretch of secluded beach, the rooms are airy, bathrooms are uber clean , towels are sooo crisp and sun bakedand last but not least ask to see and talk to the handicapped doggy they are lovingly looking after.genuine island people and serendipity.

Loved our stay with Beach Bungalows. Our host Sujith was nice and friendly. Since we went in the off-season, there weren't any other people around and we had the whole place to ourselves. Very peaceful place on the edge of the ocean. Great value for money as its a backpacker place with good, clean accommodation. They had beach huts in which you could lazy about and the food was pretty good too.

We had a famous time. When we left we immediatly decided to come back again And so we did after only 4 days, to stay the last days of our Vacation.The Crew is relaxed, friendly, not pushing. The food was amazing, freshly prepaired. We highly recommend this place for everyone who is in need of a beautiful and peacefull Place.

The bungalows themselves are basic, but there is constantly trash in front of their property, that the management doesn't even bother picking up. Every establishment on this beach could care less that there is constantly plastic and garbage on the beach portion of their premises.

Food Review: by recommendation from my hotel owner I at here, not disappointed at all! Went back to have four meals in four days at Talalla. The chef knows what he's doing and cares as well. Must have at the beach for sure.
