  This place is terrible
  The owner is an arrogant jerk
  The gardens are beautiful
  But the vibe and atmosphere of the place is awful.
  There are many beautiful places to stay in arugambay with many beautiful people
  This place is NOT one of them.
  Do yourself a favour and avoid it

  Place looks nice, but locals are not welcome here, owner/staff make every effort to keep away locals (brown skins) and only welcome foreigners.

  Nice owner, nice room. The owner give us to a jeep tour to see crocodiles, elephants and peacock in the jungle, was very nice.

  Not as good as it mentioned: cockroaches in the bathroom, no room cleaning, overpaid. We stayed in the villa far behind of the area and our room was also used as a storage for the wine very kind staff though.

  Not as good as it is mentioned. We recognized a constant conflict between locals and him. We heard about some bed bugs. Though it is a semi fancy place

  We lived in the Sun and Surf Deluxe Villa and it's very wonderful to stay there! Clean and a nice accommodation for four people. The bathroom is the highlight of this place with a unique bathtub. The owner builded everything by himself and designed it. Cute garden and a relaxed atmosphere.

  Brilliant landscape gardener talents are behind Surf & Sun. Accommodation is also reported to be good and well appointed. The restaurant might benefit from certain improvements
