The food is awasome and the service is also so good. If you go out with a team of friends or family this is the place is highly recommended. My favourite dish is butter naan and thanthoiri chicken.

Food is decent.

However we received the wrong items by delivery and were overcharged (charged for cheese naan but recieved regular naan. Charged for onion salad but recieved only onions).

The telephone staff and delivery man were both very rude.

Sunshine Tomato Family Restaurant was very famous when I have visited over an year ago but now the quality of their food and the variety of them has been reduced a lot, I have noticed this when I have visited again after an year. I hope they back in form in their service.

Sunshine tomato is dinning restaurent in first floor. They have indian and chinese cuisine. Naan and Chicken tikka masala is good here. Sunshine special salad, though non vegetarian, is good in taste for weight watchers. Sunshine special noodles is another different variety you wont see in other restaurants. Try their ginger chicken too, taste good

Great place to eat. Went there nearly at closing time, but the food did not disappoint.

I have to consider myself lucky having had internet access and Google on my phone. Otherwise probably I would not have been able to find this place when I was standing in the middle of Batticaloa with my family in the tropic heat, hungry and thirsty and kids want to find a toilet which was more than a dirty dangerous hole on the ground.
Based on Tripadvisor and Google reviews I quickly found this place which was also nearby, and decided to give a try.
The difference between this restaurant and the places providing food in the centre is huge.
I think this is a family run business, above a food shop which looked nice too.
Food was correct Indian food but I think one can find Chinese as well, beverage was cold, service was good and friendly, toilets clean and in working order.
AC was not strong enough if existed at all but poor fans tried to deliver some fresh air/wind and it wasn't too bad, considering it was really tropical weather outside.
All in all we had a good experience and a nice meal for a very reasonable price and I am very grateful for that.

A very few good places like this is in batticaloa..
Safest bet if u r going to take anyone for linch/dinner.
