  Sun Guest House is one of the most accommodating guest houses I’ve ever stayed in.  The place is close to the ancient city and several restaurants.  The rooms themselves are humble, but tidy and spotless.  Some rooms have effective air conditioning, while others have fans which cool the rooms.  The bathrooms are also clean.
  
   
  
  Sumith and his family are the best hosts in Sri Lanka!  Sumith went above-and-beyond to make sure I was comfortable, offering me tea/coffee and bananas upon arrival.  His wife prepared me a feast for dinner, which was absolutely fantastic!  The breakfast was marvelous as well.
  
   
  
  I would recommend anyone stay here, the guest house is a good fit for either families, couples, or solo travelers.  Sumith can accommodate anyone!

  遺跡やバス停から近く便利なロケーション。部屋はシンプルだが清潔で快適。エアコンは無く、ファンがあるのみ。レンタルサイクルあり、ウエルカムドリンクのサービスあり。
  
  オーナーの自宅の一室という感じで、フレンドリーなオーナーは旅のプラン作成に協力してくれるでしょう。

  In this place we felt ourselves like in home , hosts were so friendly and hospitable . Guesthouse is situated close to the old city , it is very comfortable because you can easilly see all sights of Polonnaruwa . Wanna say big thank you to all the family for everything that you made for us , we appreciate every moment , conversation and so on . Also want to say big thank to Thisal and our hosts , you organized incredible safari for us !:) We applaud cooking skills of hostess . Breakfasts&dinners were delicious !
