The only place I find myself at peace. It's the church I received my First Holy Communion at while being a student at St. Joseph's Convent Nugegoda.
Parish of his Excellency Mr.Lal Gooneratne
Very peaceful with a nice environment to connect with God
Very relaxing, soul searching, amazing experience in the church inside out. Lots of upgrades with the church well maintained and looked after by the parish people. The Blessed Sacrament exposition hall, in-through the new grotto is a rare architectural source. Also the wonderful display of sleeping St. Joseph on the opposite side of the church
Good for Christians around
Very good I going there every Sunday
St. Joseph's Church nugegoda, built in a modern semi circular structure unlike the traditional Cross formation.
Sunday obligation masses, 6.30pm (English) on Saturdays and 8.am (English) & 9.30am (Sinhala) Sundays.
A great calm place to worship the Lord. Its renovated view looks absolutely peaceful and the grotto to which the stations of the cross leads is the best part of this church. Additional to that, there is a sleeping Joseph statue where you can offer wishes in writing into a box. Further the current parish priest is a very welcoming and warm hearted person who is very supportive to the youth. There is also a newly made Chapel for the Eucharist at the grotto.
Calm and very beautiful church
Awesome Church.
A beautiful church
Calm and Peace full environment.
The "Best Choir"I have come across, Experience/enjoy yourself on Sunday mornings Mass at 8'
Good place for prayer. beautiful locations and statues
The Sunday canteen is not having much choice only the serving crowd keep stuff reserved and only a few remains for the others to get as first come first serve
It's high time the parish priest looks into it and at least get the help of the youth to do a better faster efficient job.
Only a handful of grandmas run the canteen monopoly for years shutting the youth to do a better job
Over to the parish council to look into this situation
