Why 3 not 5 Star, it's not a 5 Star place, and it's not 5 Star prices!!
Sri Gemunu Beach Resort is the genuine real deal, honest good value without pretence or BS.
The Owner and the staff really take pride in ensuring things run smoothly, we felt immediately comfortable and at home.
The Hotel is superbly located only 8km to the South/East of Galle at the end of a great little beach that has a left and a right break, and there's even a reef protected area to swim.
The food is clean and fresh in every sense, and the rooms are neat, tidy, comfortable and all have a good if not great view of the ever present Ocean.

The resort located next to a really beautiful and uncrowded beach. Breakfast was nice also and you can enjoy it in the garden, close to the ocean. Staff is helpful and the resort is clean. I can recommend this place if you stay in the area.
