Great food, lovely owners who are super friendly! You can call in early to make an order early, otherwise be prepared to wait for about 30min for your food. Food quality is superb and worth the wait if you have the time.

I visited Meewitha around 10 times with my man and we both enjoyed the food so much! The family running the restaurant is super welcoming and always friendly. We enjoyed especially their salads with vegetables and egg, they had many different fresh veggies and fruits in them. They were also massive in size so you wont be left hungry.I would recommend this place to anybody, I think it is definitely the freshest and yummiest food in Weligama! :)

Family restaurant. Food is fresh and genuine. We had chicken curry, prawns plate and a vegetable kotti plus ice cream and fruit. Everything was delicious, only little slow but that's common in Sri Lanka. Very nice staff though

Really friendly and cozy place in the front of the family's house. Super fresh juices and the rice and curry was really good with 6 elements on one plate. Place is not professional at all but that's part of the nice experience. One of the guys was running like crazy back and forth to the supermarket to get new ingredients as soon as something ran out. Everything was made fresh to order. You could taste that. Very nice experience in Weligama. Recommended.

Good homemade local food at a reasonable price. A bit of a wait (almost an hour) and as we were only patrons and starving, it gets only 4. Food is made fresh however. Note no alcohol.
