Over crowded during weekends. prices are reasonable and variety of fresh sea food available.

Last Friday bought several types of fish including Tuna 1.2Kg piece. Tuna piece is not good not fresh because after cooked in different ways my son got food poison and others who ate this fish got skin rashes. beware of buying previously frozen fish.

Ideal place if you are planning to buy fish for a week or two or even more. Prices are very reasonable. Ample parking. So many varieties to pick from. Usually crowded. You can skip crowd by walking to their super market next door for the same price. But it only have cut pieces.

Best place for all your fresh sea food needs @ very low prices. And they also have a super market & a bakery there. Good service and reasonable prices. Mostly crowded. Though there is a large car park its hard to find a parking space on weekends.

It started as a large fish stall and developed into somewhat modernized fish market. Most of the time it is crowded . A large variety of fish is available. Payment can be made either in cash or by card. Now it has grown to a supermarket with all types of grocery food stationery sweets etc. Ample parking available
Prices are reasonable.

One stop shop for all your needs. Lots of fish to choose from and they offer to cut in to pieces. There is an adjoining supermarket with everything one would need. Noticed that their vegetables are more fresh than what competition offer. There is plenty of space for parking, but on weekends entire park is full most of the time.

Crowded in weekends. Ample parking is available. Fish is cut as per your requirement with additional waiting time. Delivery is also available. Both cash and credit card payment options are possible.

Today (29th Dec, 2019)purchased sea food worth Rs5176.28 and also requested for another 01 Kg of cuttlefish.
Since the bag contains cuttlefish was dropping water from it, I requested for another bag. The workers reply was that, they cannot provide another bad and if you want buy it or other wise leave it. and had some argument relating to the same.
Also at that time got to know from other customers that they also had faced the same treatment from the staff of Sirilak Sea food(Pvt) Ltd
Like to say that the quality of the sea food is in good quality but we expect some respect and service as well.
Hope that you will take this seriously and take some action on the same.

Great place for buy fresh fish and other sea food. Wide range of fish with affordable prices. You can choose the piece what you want and they will cut it into small pieces for free. Usually crowded, but well managed. Multiple cash counters with credit card facility. Ample parking.

Recently I went to this Sirilak Sea Food Store to buy large quantity of fish for a function at home. Place is well organized. Multiple servings stations and TV screens above the station shows what you can buy from the station and the price. Once you pick what you need, there is a facility to clean the fish and cut them to desirable size. I guess this service is only if you buy large fish. Once you pick everything you need payment counters near exit to pay for your purchase. Reasonably priced but slightly expensive than the fish market in Colombo. But considering the convenience worth paying little extra. Only down side is there are limitations what you can buy compared to Colombo fish market.

One of the best place to buy sea food in the heart of Colombo. Many varieties of fish can be buy from this place and most of the people visit this Sea Food store mainly on weekends to buy there sea foods for the entire week. Ample space for parking. Super Market is also there inside the premises. Seafood can be get cleaned and cut as a complementary service offered by the store, but there is a waiting time. Nice and Friendly service. Store accepts Cards and Cash both.

This is a very good place for any kind of sea food. Prices are very reasonable. Good quality Sea foods are available for reasonable price. The shop is Air conditioned. It is reasonably maintained and environment is clean. It has Ample parking area. Staff is good and provide quick service. When you buy a whole fish they quickly cut it for you. This place is always crowded but waiting time is very short.

This is a best place to go to buy fish. One of the best places to buy fish in Sri Lanka.
Also the building next is the Sirilak supermarket.
Many people from far places come here to buy fish. The reasonable prices of the sea foods relative to other places is another special feature. Many kinds of sea food can be bought in this place.
A big car parking space is available exclusively for the Sirilak customers.

It is good. We have been purchasing fish form Sirilak since 2014. I have a suggestion. Is it possible to deliver fish to house door-step if we give an order exceeding Rs. 10000/= ? This helps us not to rush coming there and make our time more useful.

If you want to buy any kind of fish this is the place. Fish is properly transported to the place and kept in cold rooms.
At least 15 variety of fish are available. This is apart from Prawns and Cuttlefish. Even prawns and cuttlefish are available in 2 or 3 sizes, headless or with head, cleaned or as is.
Always value for money.

Stinks, but aint that universal for a fish market!! ?? 😁 the variety gives you a lesson on sea creatures. Best place to go in the area when it comes to large needs. The guys behind the counters are actually too busy to give friendly service so they are average. All in all a good enough experience for a fish market.

Great place to buy seafood at a good price. Albeit you have to buy the whole fish/animal. They do cut it up for you and give. Would have been a 5 star if the place was cleaner. But as with any market place some mess is to be expected. Despite that they are quite efficient in processing your choices of seafood from selection to cutting and bagging. They accept both card and cash payment.

Srilak is a superb place to get fish. But when it's after 7 pm most of the good kinds are over. Early bird catches the fish. Literally in this case. Soo overall I would highly recommend this place to anyone

This the best place for buying fish in this area they have a large variety of fish and the prices compared to other supermarkets and other fish shops are much cheaper. The supermarket run along the fish market does not offer much on sale. Recently it has become very crowded especially during weekends and the service levels have come down.

Good place with a lot of stuff that you can be satisfied. sometimes the security people close the gate from one end and we have to go out from the other side. when traffic time its horrible. But once you get in they offer good service. staff is friendly.

It is a great place to buy fish. The inside is far more comfortable than most fish sale places. It even has a waiting area for people. The prices here are very cheap and reasonable and the staff is friendly, swift working and co-operative. It has ample parking space, and it's own mini supermarket, so it is more of a multi purpose place. Good place to buy fish. Definitely worth going there. 👍👌👍

This is a great place for fish lovers. You could find any kind of regular, edible fish here; depending on the availability of the day. Very competitive prices there. See fish goes 1500 per kg, if you take whole fish then the price will be around 900 - 1200 per Kg.
Tuna (Kelawalla) goes around 700 per kg but when you take the whole fish the price will be around 450-500. Prawns goes around 650 -1200 per kg depending on the size.

Quality, fresh and many varieties of fish and seafood items are available there. Prices are very good and you cannot find cheaper options in the area. But customer service is POOR and it need more improvements in many areas. I think better if they can have a training sessions based on good customer service.

Crowded at all times. Best time is around 10 am when they get the fish for the day. Credit cards accepted. Can get them to cut pieces. You order keep the bag with the label and then they will call you to take the cut pieces.

Convenient place to buy sea food of almost any nature.
Parking available for lots of vehicles entering both from hospital side as well as parliament road side.
There are about five cashiers to check out from the shop. Usually fast check out.
Yet big rush in buying fish. In selecting, weighing and packing. No queue just rush. This part is entirely not organized

This is the best place I have found for buying fish and other seafood at very reasonable price. Its a value for money. large number of varieties are available for customers' preferences. From cuttle fish, prawns , salaya to coppara, tuna and shark too. they chop and clean Big fishes at foc.
The place is usually crowded and my suggestion is better to visit the venue around 10.30 am
