This is one of our historical stupa in Sri Lanka.
Situated 1 KM away from the Aralaganvila - Mahaoya main road.
It is an easy drive even by a car.
When I reached Silumina Seya, there were no buddhist monks ore anybody else from the archeological department. Instead, there were some youngsters with alcohol bottles, who were ready to party.
According to the archeological department, the Stone Umbrella, you see here , is the biggest one so far found in srilanka.
There is nobody to protect these premise. Only a warning board from the archeological department stands here.
It is our duty and the Government's duty to protect these places in order to claim our history.
