Private hospital is operated by batticaloa diocese. Treatments are given to some extent. Facilities are limited.

A place run by the bishop house, clean quite place, has a laboratory, only x-RAY, very old operation theatre with outdated equipment, atleast they have an ambulance. most of specialists consultations are there. No Emergency services unit or ICU PRESENT.

It is being well maintained by the nuns but the facilities in the operation theatre should be improved.
