  This is one of the best base Hospital in Sri Lanka with up levels facilities and services compared with other base Hospital which is located near the rural site therefore a lot of poor people get satisfactory and free medication through this base Hospital. Current (2017) medical superintendent of this base Hospital Dr.Sugunan who has good service mind and kindness movement. He is a best administrator and problem solver also. Other staffs of this hospital are very kind full and good service providers who are supervised by medical superintendent and matrons therefore this base Hospital is improving day by day. Medical superintendent of this hospital has tried to improve this hospital very hardly and trying to improve still now.
