The resort is really beautiful. It was extremely good for our kids. The room was perfect - spacious and comfortable. The staff was more than friendly although on several occasions they were lacking knowledge. Dining options were not very comfortable for families with small kids.

1. It was very disappointing to see the poor range of food available at the buffet and the confusing nature of food layout
2. This is the Mango season and it was quite shocking to see the variety of Fruits available, not a sight of a Mango.
3. Lower staff strength, need to wait for hours to get a finger bowl
4. Waiters take a long time to clear the plates - staff strength is very poor
5. I have heard many people saying that the food is very bad (taste/variety) for the price you charge
6. I'm not doing justice if I don't mention about the great atmosphere.
7. Superb rooms with a fantastic view

The rooms was fantastic, spacious with an very comfy bed. The facilities for the kids was excellent. The staff were courteous and helpful. However, as vegetarians we found the buffet quite limited and the in room dining options were severely restricted. One major concern was the lack of sufficient supervision in the kiddies’ play area. There were kids beyond the upper age limit running up the slide etc and playing rough. This was a major concern and the staff in the play area were disinterested in supervising the children near the slides.

The venue and service was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and will definitely return. What we would hope I see in future is a bit more variety at lunch and dinner of perhaps some good sea food. Also felt most dishes had the same flavour, would be good to have some spicy dishes just for those of us who fancy that. That was the only disappointment during our holiday here. Good luck!

The overall experience was highly satisfactory, especially for kids who enjoyed every bit of their time at the resort. The team at the resort were extremely helpful and friendly. The only shortcoming was the food; although it was not an area of concern for me, some members in our group felt the food aspect could have been better. Highly recommend the resort for families, especially those with kids and I am sure you will not be disappointed.

It was an excellent experience and superb service. Relax and real holiday experience.
For continuous improvement :
There were very limited vegan food. I am vegan and other than fruits there were only one dessert without eggs. No vegan bread.

This is one of hotels with best service you can find in the country. Good environment and you can roam around for hours. Lots of activities are available. I'm rating 4-Star because of the food. Food is good and tasty but could have more variety and also buffey on consecutive days were almost similar.

Quite elegant. Everything looked nice and clean. Staff was friendly and courteous. However there were a few turnoff points. No valet parking and the parking was bit away. No direction signs to say entry and exit. No lights in the road between the main road and the hotel entrance. If these could be done it would be perfect.

wow this place is amazing. i think the best resort in Sri Lanka. impeccable service, enormous buffet, huge swimming pool this is a 5 star motel. great location between two of the major national parks. heaps of activities here. the spa was also first class. if u love luxury motels this place has it all. 😀👍

Beautiful hotel but with crappy food menu. Breakfast was good. Great pool and some water activities too. Place is spacious and so are room. They need to improve on lunch buffet. Staff was very friendly. Loved the ambiance. Bit far off from Matara highway exit. Place was crowded as well, so the stay was boring. Overall, definitely a hotel you should try out, but hopefully by then menu issue is soughted out.

You don’t know from where to start. It was magic from the word go. We were a group of seven celebrating an anniversary and a birthday. You simply can’t say enough of the friendly, ever helpful, and ever smiling staff. There was always a genuine smile on their face. As they say people make the place. Now talking about the resort, this haven has everything you could think off. In the resort you have all what you can ask for. Three swimming pools spread over the property , an eighteen hole golf course, a great pub, a lovely lounging areas all over the property. Every corner of the resort is aesthetically put together. What I would finally say is the staff which really made the place and an experience never to forget.

Meals are ok. But late service.anyway all improved now. It has already improved to a certain extent when I visited second time about a month ago. Do hope and wish that will be more and more improved soon, best wishes Resident Manager

One of the best 5 stars hotels located outside the busy cities.
There are few things the management should look in to when it comes to restaurant and bar etiquette.

One of the best experience you will ever have. Lovely, relaxing, spacious rooms. Large restaurants. Very friendly staff to take care all your needs. They have throughout everything for all, individual and family. Good a well equipped kids zone for kids and got care takes to look after them. Adults got great entertainments too with pool table, Video games, Table tennis, trapeze, etc. Lovely pools for both kids and adults. Very large resort garden and wonderful golf course. Spa is an awesome experience. Got model sized old Sri Lankan town made within the resort premises to experience good olden days. Absolutely wonderful place to enjoy.

Not good enough! Horrible food served. Service painstakingly slow. Charges ended up being waved but checked out again after one night. Complaints were taken on board but only resolved when checked out early. I would not recommend unless you are happy with non fresh food seemed like frozen and reheated. Pool is nice, grounds ok. Room clean. Menu is lacking variety.

There are not many places where you can see the sunrise and sunset from the same point! The property is stunning and large. As the place is relatively new, there are a few kinks that need to be worked out. Overall a brilliant resort!

300 bedroom Hotel, but very tasty created. Beautiful Lobby, two nice bars to relax during day and evening. Outside area with three different pool areas, children, family, adults. Long Beach, where swimming is officially not allowed. Very good gym, various daytime activities. Nice Golf course with excellent fairways and greens. Extremely friendly and helpful stuff.
