  Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Price is reasonable for the facilities. They tried to give us a western breakfast. It would have been better, if they provided a local breakfast.

  Good location near the lake. It was refreshing to stay is SL where everthing that we needed was in our room and in good working order. Nice clean sheets with duvet, kettle in the room, good A/C and fan, and super hot hot water with a big shower head. Anthony at the front desk was able to organise us a comfortable people mover (van) and driver to take us to take us to Lion Rock, Polonnaruwa and back to Colombo (at a competitive rate). Nice shady outdoor area for breakfast.

  The great thing about accommodations in Sri Lanka is majority of them are guest houses, and a few small hotels, and because of this we were able to directly support local business owners. Everywhere we stayed we had breakfast included – it was both convenient and delicious. The hosts were always flexible on offering continental or local breakfast options.
  
  The hosts are what made our stay in Sri Lanka both comfortable and memorable. They were always aiming to accommodate your needs, making sure you were as comfortable as you can be with what they have to offer – they have been great examples of the wonderful hospitality you hear about in Sri Lanka. They (along with the Tuk Tuk drivers) are also a wealth of information, don’t underestimate them, and feel free to ask about anything and everything.
  
  The room was comfortable, clean, with AC, and had its own shower (the hot water was giving us some trouble). The staff was very attentive and willing to assist where needed. The hosts were able to help us figure how to best move around the cities we intended to go to. We asked for a Sri Lankan breakfast and they were flexible in accommodating our request. They were able to provide laundry services on site. The Wi-Fi here was great!

  Settle Inn Tourist Lodge is situated in a semi-rural setting just 1 km from Kandy City. It houses a restaurant and offers complimentary Wi-Fi access and private parking.
  
  The property is a 15-minute drive from the Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya. Kandy railway and bus stations are about 1 km away, while The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is 40 km away.
  
  Cooled with air conditioning and a fan, rooms offer a wardrobe, a telephone and an en suite bathroom with shower facilities and a hairdryer.
  
  Outings and tours can be arranged at the travel desk. Guests can head to the 24-hour front desk for assistance with room, airport and laundry services. Barbecue facilities are also available.

  We went there in January 2016, the room was very clean, cozy and comfortable.
  I enjoyed my stay. will visit again.
  We had only the room, coz Kandy town is so close and there are too many restaurants for dining. View is not the main selling point to this hotel, but it's fully worth if your are looking to settle in after a long tour.
  But there was very small parking at the premises, we were lucky to get a spot to park our car..
