Nice view of the city. Food is only so-so. Portions are big though. Sri Lankan food only available for lunch.

Great place by the view point. If you are to get a table by the fence, you can see the great view of the lake and the Kandy city while enjoying your delicious meal. Their à la carte if rich with various local and western foods, and they are fairly priced.

The view is really nice but the food is horrible. The prawns are fishy and the mushroom was not fresh. Everything we ordered tasted bad. Even the decor is ugly.

i would say this place doesn't even deserve one star!!!!!! Me and my boyfriend had a very unfortunate experience here. About 20 mins into our meal, a waiter approaches and asks us if we are done and asks us to leave as they had to arrange the hall for a function later that evening. Mind you my plate wasn't even empty I was clearly "not done"! As we waited for our bill, we noticed that none of the foreigners around us were asked to leave. Did we just experience racism from our own people?? Boy it sure felt like it!!!

Awesome view of Kandy, the river and the temple. Very reasonable priced and fast service. Order the large version only if you plan on sharing, they're a bit heavy for only one person.

Reasonable prices mean £7 for rice & curry (3 curries, lots of sides, enough rice to satisfy any cheapo), £3 for 1.5 pints of lion lager. Combined with the awesome view and the great service, it results in a great lunchtime.

For a drink. 650 rp a big lion 400rp a mixed fresh fruit. A little bit too expansive.
The view is now less interresting due to a new building on the left.

Absolutely horrific experience, prices are ridiculous, waiters took approximately 30 minutes to bring two cokes and a ginger beer. Not only that, but the food arrived at various times. For example we had all our noodles and rice delivered with our cold curries and as a final dish when people were finishing up they bring out the cuttle fish (which had about 3 pieces of cuttlefish swimming in a litre of sauce). Pathetic restaurant, with no respect from the waiters. Ruined my holiday experience.

Soups were uncooked corn flour in hot water, even coffee was terrible. Sri Lankan omlet was just another omlet,over priced likes anything Service was not good as well ..
