I stayed there just for a night, but it's wonderful place and the owner is very friendly guy and can cook awesome food.

Worst experience.. pls don't visit.. not even giving water.. had to walk 2 miles to get down water. Rubbish, never coming back here

Really really nice place to spend your vacation. I came here to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary and to relax Freindly owner.. lovely sorrounding.. Host is great.. Not only that, but foods and beverages also best. Felt as we are in our own home. Hope and wish to come again. Thanks a lot salt bay for making nice our loving day..

A delightful place with a breathtaking beach and an awesome host who makes you feel completely at home. Thusitha also is a superb cook. Nothing more to ask for when you are on holiday! I will definitely return.

Good location with clean rooms and outdoor showers. I'd love to rate this place higher but the owner is a real piece of work. He promised us fish dinner for his expensive barbecue and all that was made was mediocre and very bony chicken with nearly no meat. Again another night we said we'd have dinner if he was serving fish, to which he said he would for us. Come dinner time all that was being grilled up was chicken. We opted to leave for a much less expensive dinner of something we actually wanted.
Owner invited us to visit his sister resort and use their pool free of charge but then put a pool charge on our room bill. He also had our bungalow painted while we were out and insisted it was "environmentally friendly," but it gave us a headache and was not okay for a pregnant lady or 2 year old. The owner did nothing to correct this and offered no apology and had a generally poor and aggressive attitude.response / report this review -

We had a really great time here, the rooms are small cabanas with open air bathrooms, they were very clean and absolutely adorable. Thusitha the host was very helpful and booked us dolphin watching tour as well, the food was great the atmosphere was great too. It's only a short walk from a beautiful beach with virtually no people. Great value for money. Will def visit again and recommend it to my friends.

The kind of place where you could easily spend a week; all you need is here!
Friendly people, nice location, quiet, good wifi.
Perfect for families as well as for solo travellers!
The staff, the food (the best I had in Sri Lanka, not joking) and the cleanliness are this place's strong points.

Home away from home! Thusita and his staff are wonderful and experts at welcoming and entertaining their guests. The cabanas and rooms are very clean and comfortable and the place is managed wonderfully. The food is another strong selling point. What more can I say. Loved it and found it so hard to leave!

This is a fantastic place! Thusita and staff are very nice and serve wonderful food and help you arrange activities. Good barbecue and in the soon future also a coffee-shop.
We stayed here with 2 kids and it was great.
