This is a Buddhist temple which is located in center of Kandy city. It is the place which has Lord Buddha's Tooth Relic for worshiping. Some people called this place as Temple of Tooth Relic. By the way this is really pleasant place which helps to relax our mind and make calm our spiritual lives.

Great place. Do not forget to go to the museums and the gift shop. Very reasonable price. If you r not a buddist go on a weekday. Its less crowded

Kandy didn't really impress us to much. Might be because we were very tired already. But all the attractions seemed to cost a bit too much plus you need someone to drive you around. We had tho great accommodation and tlthe people were really nice.

Very sacred place. Temple of tooth of Loard Buddha is the most important place in Kandy. It is the reason for the Kandy city to be a sacred place.. Even though you are a non Buddhist you should visit here and experience the place.

One of the more ornate places on our trip. The most impressive part, the ancient inner temple, which was heavily influenced by the orient. It is here you can see and read about the sacred Buddha Tooth, interesting English translations. There is even a museum dedicated to a famous elephant that paraded there.

Sacred city admired by all the buddhists because of sacred tooth relic. A great tourist attraction. Very beautiful city. Must visit at least once in your life. But the traffic inside city is terrible.

Sacred city of Kandy. Ancient city most famous for the Sacred Temple of Tooth. Beautiful, lots and lots of places to go and visit. Plenty of hotels to stay. Good food. Friendly and helpful people.

The main highlight for Kandy. I came here for when they have the sacred tooth viewing session at around 10:30am but the queues were pretty big. I arrived 30 minutes before viewing time ended and I didn't make it in time. Even if you don't see it it's still worth visiting, there is a big bunch of museums and temples. It's also fascinating to see religious followers leaving their offerings. A place for history and culture.

A city with a very good climate. Kandy is not too cold and not too hot as well. A beautiful city with a nice lake in the middle and with a historical value. Lot of good views and mountains. Anybody can simply fall in love with Kandy city
