It was a nice Station, well maintained, cleaned as well. Ahh but Rest room was bit awful. I mean washrooms are okay, but the bench which was there to sit was broken. So faced some struggles cuz of it.

Haputale railway station is a cool place of Main Line. Haputale railway station at between Diyatalawa and Idalgashinna railway stations.Haputale is one of the Sri Lanka's most popular tourist destinations because of outstanding scenery including many famous waterfalls such as Diyaluma falls, and Bambarakanda Falls, and cooler climate provided by its high altitude.Good facilities available here

Located near to Colombo - Badulla main road and 150 meters from the road. Generally crowed railway station due to the tourism and other typical facilities of the town to the rural people who mostly use train transportation. Seems to be a old fashioned Station with cool climes. Open 24/7, most of the tourists use this railway-station to go to Nanu-oya(city)

Station surrounded by Mountains. Cool Climate and Train Journey to Haputale from Colombo gifts one with an unforgettable experience. Hundreds of tunnels through the mountains and forests presents you with a wonderful experience. The station is on the way to Ella from Colombo.
Town is located very near to Railway station and you can find many ATMS outside the station.
Alight at Haputale to enjoy the beauty of tea plantations in Sri Lanka. Climate is cool but not too cool compared to Nuwa Eraliya.response / report this review -
