  Beautiful railway station in wet zone.situated near the bus stand,special thing is there is an tunnel under the railway line to cross the railway.busy on friday and weekdays.

  Bandarawela railway station is at between Diyatalawa and Kinigama railway stations. It is Situated in amazing environment.Bandarawela is One of the famous tourist city of up country. Number of local and foreign tourist arrived to Bandarawela everyday.

  Located near to Colombo - Badulla main road and on the Bandarawela - Poonagala road. Generally crowed railway station due to the tourism and other typical facilities of Bandarawela. Seems to be a old fashioned Station.

  This is the almost highest position in Sri Lankan railway Track. Scheduled trains fly 24 hours a day from capital colombo..though it is very infrequent, you can Google the time table for trains..

  Bandarawela was the terminus of the Main Line from 1893 to 1924 until the line was extended to it's present terminus Badulla.
  
  The town, Bandarawela is surrounded by famous Hill Country eye-pleasing locations, where some of Sri Lanka’s best views such as Horton Plains, Lipton’s Seat….

  Situated in near bandarawela bus stand. Old train engine is preservated on here. Build in 18th century. Old look is still on it.
