Very relaxed and well run hotel. Fantastic views from the garden and dining areas. Direct access to the surf or sheltered swimming spots. Loved it.

The garden was lovely, lots of sun loungers and your choice of shade or sun, and right next to the beach. However our room was very basic, and smelled strongly of damp. Staff were friendly, and tea and breakfast were nice. If they sort the room out I'd happily recommend.

We stayed there 1 night but were booked for 2..checked out the next day as the toilets were a mess, flush didn't work and both the taps were broken. Not at all worth the $84 a night price. When asked them to fix they were on the offensive and refused to even visit the room to take a look. Mr Malinga was very abusive ' darling' is what I was refered to me with many abuses that followed(I do not wish to type) when I insisted on a checkout. In todays 'me too' world, a little more respect would be appriciated. Location is good but the place a real mess. Wish they respected what they had. Food was good but with very little choice. Just a walk ahead we seem to have found a much friendlier and more comfortable option with the same accebility. All in all I would give Parm Villa a 1 star more due to the people, the manager and the terribly abusive Mr Malinga then the location as it turned out to be a disasters on a rather unbelievably beautiful holiday in Sri Lanka.

Great place to spend the vacation. Friendly staff and cheap foods. Free tea time always. Airport drops and pickups are possible from here. There are lot of rooms view different kind of views. Such as garden view, sea view etc. Also you can arrange any tour from here and hotell staff will help you.

Beautiful peaceful villa, opening onto a stunning stretch of beach where my girlfriend swam with turtles! I arrived there just as i was falling into a short but v unpleasant fever. They looked after me with such genuine care and compassion for 48 hours and i am forever grateful. I love the staff and the villa and wish them all the best :)

I've just stayed here for nine nights and found it the perfect place to relax, swim, and eat fine food. The nearby beaches are superb, rough seas are broken by the coral reef on the immediate smaller bay while the next main beach is a surfing beach.
Breakfast hwre is a simple mixed fruit, egg, toast & set of variations, with delicious tea and coffee. On the patio or in the garden, you are overlooking the fresh clean ocean, ever the background symphony of your stay.
The rooms are simply furnished, clean and always with hot water.
The naturally friendly staff and owner, Nico, really make the place; the original building itself is a several hundred year old villa kept up carefully with a great ambience.
The closest I've seen in India to this hotel would be in the upmarket locations within the White City area of Pondicherry.
Thank you all for a great stay.

Beautiful. You would pay a fortune to stay in a place like this in most countries. Beautiful gardens, beautiful sea, sun, plenty of places to sit outside, a relaxed atmosphere and a comfortable room. We could not be happier.

Nice setting in the shade with an overview of Mirissa bay. Go for the seafood fried rice (as the curries are a bit on the salty side).

Went for dinner and had the traditional Sri Lankan curries - absolutely spectacular - so many varieties that they give you. Highly recommended and V.J the host of he restaurant is an amazing guy, super friendly and hospitable. Also the perfecting dining environment under the palm trees, looking up at the stars and right on the ocean! Good vibes and amazing food.

Great food. We had the curry and it was delicious. Palm Villa is a bit on the pricy side but the location makes up for it. The building is colonial and it's worth a browse. We would have loved to stay there but it was all booked up.

Palm villa Mirissa is situated right at the beachfront but has no direct access to the water because of the reinforcement of the coastline with big boulders . But a walk of 100m brings you to fine sands. The rooms are tastefully arranged with light pastel colours. I think most of them have a sea view. Some are equipped with air conditioning. The served food is excellent and I enjoyed the best breakfast in Sri Lanka right there. The atmosphere is best described as calm, easygoing and relaxed.
