Old empire is old and uniqu hotel near kandy lake good good food.
And old but very clean living his front Ofice manager so much cooperative and respectable person must go to live there's.

Great location and rooms are clean, staff is friendly. Shared bathroom has cold water and there is no WiFi, you have to order something at the restaurant below for access but they change the password every day

Rooms 4 and 6 have ensuite, the rest are shared bathrooms and all are cold water. Moderate prices for best central location near the lake, temple and shops. Charming colonial building kept generally clean by friendly staff. Unfortunately, ancient bedding is an issue and fleas and bedbugs come free. Restaurant/ cafe downstairs serves good but limited international style menu, portion controlled but nicely presented, prices on the high side for Kandy.

A very Old Restaurent providing food and accommodation to backpackers. Famous amongst locals as well. Provides a grid breakfast and a Lunch plus a Good Lunch Packet.

Service and ambience is great. They're famous for their rice and curry and unfortunately we didn't try that. We tried the fish and chips instead which wasn't that special.

Great location as it's right near the temple and Buddha's tooth. Cafe below is very good at OK prices. Rooms are mediocre but generally pretty clean. Room prices were good considering how good the location is.
