One of the nicely built and poorly maintained bus stand in Sri Lanka. No authorities can watch ignorant citizens, public should cooperate to maintain this facility foe better.
Always crowdy but mostly closedafter 11PM
Very poor call centre services
This contact holder person isn’t good at all.. he doesn’t know what he wanna do when somebody call and ask something about bus service.. he is a stupid and idiot person.. please do take responsibility about this matter who can able to solve this situation
The most artistic bus station ever i think
A little regional bus station but a very busy one at that. There are at least half a dozen hair salons on the first level. Who knew? And at least another half a dozen mobile phone shops. Just outside and adjacent to the bus station are numerous restaurants and sweet shops. There are no signs to indicate which bus stand is for which bus but travellers here seem to know and wait patiently for their fare.
Cleanliness should be improved. After a rainy day, the parking area became Muddy.
For a first time visitor, it can all be very overwhelming. You have bus attendants calling out destinations. And there are many people walking through the area. Head straight to the passengers transport services office. They can help you out by telling you which is the bus you need to take.

Situated in the middle of the town so you can easily go anywhere.Theres a threewheeler park near the bus stand as well as there are some vehicles for hire.It looks nice but not proper maintained one.The washroom is in a corner behind the place where Magasthota and Welimada buses park.In rainy time it looks unpleasent
A central bus station well located in the middle of town. You can easily get a tuk tuk or a taxi from this station so be wary of those hanging around in the station offering such help. Their vehicles are often located away from the station and you could have walked halfway to your accommodation before you made it to their vehicle. Pay attention where you walk as its a bus station, not a supermarket carpark.
Got it all. Where ever you need to go, what ever you need to buy. There are some very good restaurants in the area of the bus station
Many routes busses available therw.
You can access buses to travel cities inside Nuwaraeliya and for other main places In Srilanka. At 6.00 am the kandy buses will start.north provinces buses are not always available. The place looks dirty.
place is kind of wet and dirty. and number of buses for some roots are very low.
now it is looking good, earlier it was dirty and ugly to see
considering the status of the city as a beautiful destination this bus stand is so out of place. Dirty, smelly.
Ctb bus station customer service answering phone reply vary bad impression advise to him keep good manners
The bus station is located in the heart of the city of Nuwara Eliya. V.convenient for tourists especially.
From here you can easily get access to Kandy, Colombo, Boralanda (Pedro Tea Factory), Nanu Oya
Nothing special. A typical bus stand. The phone number provided here is wrong
This is the main bus station of Nuwara Eliya which is well connected with the various provinces of Sri Lanka. The place has a couple of refreshment stalls but lacks cleanliness in terms of the place and the public toilets. There is no help/info desk and the only way one can obtain info on the bus schedules etc is by inquiring with the bus operators there
We caught a bus to Ella easy enough to navigate
You can get a bus to all destinations in Srilanaka.
You can get a bus to various destinations around the country from here. Kinda messy. But generally in good condition.
Small bus stand. Hard to find bus time
Worst bus ride experience! No time table available online and even the phone number listed here is wrong? The only way for me to get answers to bus related questions in Nuwara Eliya is to physically go to the station and look for staff. Asking local people would easily result in tons of confusions simply because they probably don't know the bus schedule either.
unruffled and peaceful travelers, serenity and indulgence for a relaxingÂ
It's been years ago, I stillnremember here the smell of the street and sound of buses. Clearly not well organised but something touched me at here. Humidity that was an issue.
Extremely busy place. Even difficult to walk.
Main Bus Stand less facilities and no proper management.
Nice place . I live in my nuwara eliya
Nice place if you want to: be hit by a tuk-tuk, be run over by a bus. Cautious as I am - I mostly focused on avoiding being pick pocketed.
If you haven't seen the hell yet,.. Go to the toilet of this bus stand and you will find it! :D
