  I think the hospital is fine, except certain medicinal items may be missing at times. But the vaccine we were looking for was not available in all hospitals. Therefor i can't blame Ninewells for that.
  
  On the other hand when my wife got admitted to for delivery of our baby, the staff was very helpful. Since it was our first baby we did not have any clue about how to handle a baby. The Hospital Staff was available Day & Night at the touch of the emergency button.

  Thought compared to other pediatric hospitals this would be good but its the worst hospital we have ever been to. The nurses are utterly useless no care at all for the sick children. The nurses had to be reminded to give medicine all the time and it took four hours for a nurse to attend my son at night. Even the saline when finished it was never replaced and we have to remind them. Most important is make sure to get a detailed bill for all medicine/consumables since we found we were overbilled with many medicinal items which was never given. Will not recommend to anyone this hospital.

  The worst customer service ever.. Don't get fooled by the helpfulness of the ground-floor nursers. Whenever I go for channeling, ground-floor nursers were very helpful. But when we admit there for the delivery ward nursers were useless. We were there for 3 days not once our room was moped. We have to remind nursers about the medications. They always forget to give medications on time. Once a nurse came to give some medications and my wife was having her dinner. Then nurse told she will come back later.. But never came, we even informed the ward desk but no one came. Emergency button will only work before 11pm. After 11pm to 5am rarely someone will attend to the emergency button. The ward nurses doesn't even know how to teach the proper breast feeding method. The pediatrician we met afterwards told that breast feeding method was totally incorrect.
  
  Anyway we are utterly disappointed with the services we received. We will not recommend anyone Ninewells for their delivery..
