The proximal end of the park is a terraced garden with nicely arranged, eye catching floral combinations. At the top most terrace there are splendid water fountains. Here , it is a hot spot of couples. In the distal end there is a children's park.
Long walking paths and the location are great given that this is very conveniently located. However it would be nice to have more family and hangout placesresponse / report this review -

Good place for excercise. I have seen every day yoga programs being conducted. Herbal porridge (කොල කැද) also available here

Best place for Jogging, walking and spend the day leisurely without any disturbance from food sellers. Parking available.

Nice long walking track, kept very clean. It also has a wonderful play area for children. However, they don't allow pets. There are absolutely No Dogs allowed.

This a well layed out recriation ground. You can walk for about 2Km in well maintained grounds. It's popular with young couples and walkers as they do not allow bikes. There is a small car park.

It is an excellent walking track of one kilometre. It is in the form of a circle, therefore you can walk any distance you desire. At the river end of the track is a 5 star boat restaurant which you may want to choose for a family dinner or something, reservations are required.

Great place for walking, jogging and exercising. Includes a car park, a play area for kids and the view is nice. Only thing missing is a food stall.

The once Lovely, landscaped walking Park area is losing it's charm. We observed that evening the fountains and mini water falls were not functioning, Many lovers were making hay in the dark corners of the path ways creating much discomfort to families (with children)trying to take a stroll. No security personnel were seen during our visit.

Morning or evening it's a great place to be visiting. Broad walking / jogging tracks are a pleasure to lose some calories. Its beauty is enhanced by the nicely maintained lawns and hedges as well as the adjoining canal. It is a wonderful place for nature lovers and nature photographers since there are many birds and dragon flies In the nearby bushes. Over the last several years after its commissioning the foliage has matured so well that it has become a mini ecosystem in the midst of the busy townships of Nugegoda and Nawala - two of the most popular suburbs of Colombo.

Urban park close to Nugegoda town. Better place to have a walk any time in the day. I prefer to go there on evening and morning time

Nice calm n quiet place within the city. Nice place for jogging n to spend your time with your loved ones. Currently the maintenance are not done properly.
