  Only rain forest in western province. Always raining condition. To many human activities on this forest. It's going to dead near future. I sure about it. It's surrounded by humen villages.

  Very beautiful rainforest. Its sayed that this been connected to sinharaja.Very rich bio diversity area. Prone to sudden rains and nearby roads to get flooded. Birds, insects, spiders are commonly seen.

  Come and reintroduce yourself to nature, to the everlasting trees and the undiscovered species of birds and animals at the Paniyawala rain forest. This rainforest is the world heritage virgin rainforest of Sri Lanka and also goes by the name Sinharaja Reserve. The unique botanical and biological species are the highlight of the area. The density of the trees and the natural habitat of the animals makes you want to visit it again and over again. Another speciality of this rainforest is that it is the only place where you can witness the Native Beraliya trees which bear fruit once in four years and is known to cure diabetes.

  Few wild jungle, a small mountain stream. We saw monkeys, large butterflies, lizards.
