One of the most historical an ancient place in sri lanka, which was built in 1000 CE. The temple complex is a collection of five temples, including a Buddhist temple. The central temple dedicated to God Shiva and The other temples are dedicated to Ganesha, Ayyanayake and Kali. There are lots of historical folk may hear around over there.The main festivals celebrated at the temple include Navarathri and Sivarathri.

A very historical temple. It is believed that Lord Rama after slaying Ravana was follow by Brahmahasthi Dosham. It disappeared as he was passing over this temple. So he landed here and prayed to Lord Shiva.
