One of the biggest decorated murugan temple located between chilaw and madampe. This is the first place for the tourists who arrived to kattunayaka international airport and moving to north of Sri Lanka . Toilet facilities are available and a small vegetarian food shop is located at the front. Entrance free and please follow the temple rules if you are new . In the temple surrounding you can located a rare historical flower call "Lingodpavamalar"

This Kovil is a private owned establishment. But any local & foreign tourist can visit - No entrance ticket. Can't take any photos inside the Kovil. You need to be in bare foot and need to wear decent clothing.

This is a relatively new Hindu kovil with lots of colourful and large-sized statues and images of Hindu Gods and related events. If you are traveling in Colombo-Puttalam highway, worth paying a visit.

It would be great if descriptive captions could be added of statues and sceneries.

Over the top as all Hindu temples appear to be. No better, no worse than any other.
