  300 Rupees by tuk tuk from Mirissa main road. Catch the train to Galle, Hikkuduwa or Colombo easily from here before the train fills up. Don't worry if the station guy isn't there, he turns up to sell tickets about 10 mins before the train arrives. Train to Colombo via Galle & Hikkuduwa at 06:22

  Short platform, make sure you are further back in the train as we were up front and ended up having to climb down the steps and walk along the tracks with our luggage to get to the train station platform. Couple of tuk tuks were waiting at the station, the train station is in the middle of no where about 15-20 minutes from the main town/ beach area.

  You need to take tuktuk if you have alot of luggage. Open only when train comes

  Express train do not stop here. Take the. Stop before this or after. The you can take a bus towards Mirissa

  One of the stations in the coast line of Sri Lanka Railways. Not much crowded.
