We had drinks on lounge seats on the beach, which was nice. Food (lunch) was basic but they have a nice extensive menu.

When we go to Mirissa we had no idea where to stay. We parked our car near Mirissa beach area and walked towards the beach. There were lot of small hotels on the beach but those are very dark not clean etc. then we saw this hotel. White, clean and spacious. The crowd on the restaurant was decent. So we thought of staying there on that night. Prices were so reasonable. Staff was friendly. Food was tasty. We had a relaxing time.

Just stopped here for a "quick" lunch around 1pm with our guide. After waiting for 10 minutes to get our menus and 15 minutes for someone to get our orders we received our drink 16 minutes later. Then we waited another 35 minutes for a prawn curry and grilled chicken dish at which point I got up and complained asking where our food was, after which it arrived after about 10 minutes.

Then no one apologized, no one came over, no one offered us anything else to drink, nothing.

After about 10 mins of waiting after we finished our meal, I got up and asked for the bill and our guide's banana juice was added to our bill to which our guide was told that he paid for it. I went to the manager and refused to pay the service charge, still paid for everything else. Then I apologized to the waitress for being short with her about the food and said it was just because I was hungry, and she starts complaining saying, "what do you expect from us? There are lots of guests and only two people working?" There were 5 tables. If you can't handle 5 tables as a restaurant in the middle of the afternoon, what are you doing?

My Guide said this is his first experience with their new management and won't be bringing people back here anymore.

Just Bad. Especially in a touristy part of town.

There is nothing good in this hotel apart from food they serve. Pathetic service.. they locked the entrance at 8pm and the staff completely disappeared after..not even security guard was there we had to jump over the gate to getin.

We had a lunch here. Club sandwich and pasta dishes both were very tasty. Happy hour starts at 4pm. (Buy one get one free) the beds here come with lunch. It's perfect as they have good quality beds and when the tide rolls in the beds have a step up to be placed on. Good service too.

We only stopped by here to grab some beers on the beach in the evening. Quiet place which made for a perfect spot to play a round of Yahtzee.

We were here for day trips to use their lounge chairs and have drinks and lunch. Poshier and spacious than it's neighbors.
Staff was really friendly. Ordered nasi goreng and it's pretty good. There's wifi but connection is spotty.
Tide is higher in the afternoon, so be careful of your stuff if you've put them on the sand; never underestimate the current as it can wash your stuff away.

!!!! NEVER COME HERE A terrible hotel with a "prepaid" request as every shady place in the world. Every night there's a super high volume RAVE music coming from the next door "hotels" making it impossible to sleep. The place is dirty, very old and i do not mean it in a charming colonial way. At 9pm our electricity broke so we were not able to switch off any longer the light and the "manager" proposed us a downgrade to a worst room without any offer or refounding or anything similar. Unable to solve problems and to propose valid alternatives. NEVER COME HERE.

Food is OK, though not the best in town. Anyway it is quiet, clean, staff is very friendly, deck chairs for free and it is right in the middle of the sandy beach. We definitely enjoyed our stay!
