Nice place but need regular maintenance.

It had problems with bugs during the evening. Thousands on the nets and even in the the eating areas. Very unpleasant time. It was during August , so be aware. And the lake that was supposed to be isn't there any more. Plus point was there were elephants around in the night making rumbling noise.

Stayed this place for 2 nights. Facilities are not that good, but basic since bathrooms were not maintained well. It got 4 rooms with accomodation for 10 people.
Care takers are very nice and they cooked our meals very well. You have to bring rationals and given to them.
Located next to the bank of Kaudulla tank and if fortunate, you can see elephants too.
Road condition is not that good so recommend to go by an off-road vehicle.response / report this review
