Upscale hotel.Location is really satisfied.Nice place to stay & convenience pilgrims.Friendly staff.Good service.Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I stay only oneday go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

A Good place to stay if vist katharagama. Good quality rooms but foods are dull. Pleasant place. Swimming pool is good I like that underwater sounds . Good room service

My concern was there was a dirty pool near the spa. A frog was dead. My two kids got in to that. Pool attendant inform us that the recycling motor is broken. My point is there should have been a sign saying not to get in. We are on a five day holiday. Hope children will not get sick.

The room is spacious yet the porter delivered the baggage to wrong room. And the buffet food is not hot at all. The restaurant mgr didn’t do any make up for the guests who suffered from the broken AC space where the bugs flied from the outside.

I vised this hotel recently and i had wonderful experience with my friends. And i had no problem with room service. The buffet was extremely worth it for the price. Anyways had a pretty quality time with my friends.

Pleasant surroundings and good pool. Rooms spacious and well furnished. Bar a bit dingy. Restaurant average. Staff friendly but not well trained- told me no a la carte menu was available and so I opted for the (expensive) buffet only to find later other people were won't off this menu. WiFi was temperamental everywhere except in the lobby. Little things like these disappointed me in a hotel with such promise.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Kataragama.
Rooms are nice and the property is always clean. Customer service from staff is brilliant.
Be careful about some plants with thorns when you are in the garden.

We arrived the hotel by 2.30 p m on 15th April.we were informed that the rooms were not ready.After visiting Yala block 5 , we came to the hotel at 7.30 p m & we were again informed that rooms were not ready & had to wait until 8.15 p m to get the room. Service is poor & a lot to improve .This is my 3rd visit to the hotel & signs are very bad.Food is excellent & that is the only plus factor .

Outstanding and in it's days innovative and futuristic is their under water music system. Only high frequency though.so classical tunes are sadly better transmitted than Trance and Techno; -)
The rest of the hotel is average.

The food quality has gone down. The good used to be so much better. The spread of the buffet for new years eve was not as good as expected. Regardless, this is still my home away from home. I love this place. The staff is super friendly and flexible.

Comfortable and cozy rooms with a beautiful surrounding. Great food and friendly staff. Convenient location and flexibility to alter the check in and check out times.
