good place to spend time, fantastic swimming pool , good dinner and tasty break -first , friendly staff, clean rooms and wash rooms. space to parking your vehicle, need to improve cleanness of changing room near swimming pool. and ground flow wash room need to clean regularly. if including more lights in the swimming pool it's good.

We've stayed one night with booking of two rooms. Unfortunately there was a wedding reception. It was disturbing the guest. They could have informed me prior to booking, but they didn't. Better to check before booking.
Rooms, swimming pool and foods are ok. Staff are friendly but not well trained. Rooms for improvement.response / report this review -

had a pleasant stay. the staff were very friendly. not too crowded. rooms were clean and tidy. there is a nice swimming pool also. but the food was a bit of a problem. not many varieties. to be honest food needs to be improved in taste wise also. at my 1st stay at Okrin, the food was brilliant. but the second and third food was not that good. as I got to know, the management had changed since my 1st stay and that could be a reason for the quality of the food to deteriorate.

Had a wonderfull time in this place. We booked a family room which was very spaciuos and was soo clean. Staff is so helpfull and friendly! Definetly wont think tqice visiting here. Thank you and Best regards.

Food is good.we had a fixed menu.pool facility wasn't maintained properly(may be due to less bookings for the hotel on the day we went).room was hugh when comparing with others(we booked a family room).ok place to stay.

Didn't expect to find a such a cool place to hangout in kataragama. I cannot complain on anything since the hotel is really clean & comfy in all aspects. Great team of staff took care of us through out our stay. I would definitely go there again. Bit of improvement is needed though on the infrastructure & amenities. All & all very good place to stay for who ever goes to katara.👍👍

Quite a big room, bigger was the balcony facing nature. However, when we arrived at about 1pm, room was not ready. Didn't matter, we left our things, went out for sightseeing, returned again and instead of dining at the dining area, I decided to have it in my room. Good food. We started our morning with an impressive freshly prepared traditional Sri Lankan breakfast at Katagarama. In fact, I would say it was one of the best among the rest of the breakfast so far despite waiting for at least half an hour. Worth the wait because the steamed rice cakes eaten with the fish curry and spicy blistering coconut chutney were superbly delicious. Truly my kind of food on which the tour buddies agreed, though one of them earlier sulked loudly about the slow service. Whatever, by the time we polished off every bit of the meal, temper and tantrum had fizzled off.
