  A very historical temple from Ramayana times. The Shivalingam here is made by Lord Rama using Mud ( mud or sand in tamil is mannu) . Hence the name Manavari temple. An hidden gem. Less popular because of civil war that was prevailing and restriction imposed to visit this place
