Poor service and the tidiness of the place is extremely poor as well. The amount you spend here is not worth at all. It is OK to buy the bakery items for takeaway. A collection of items are good, likes of egg rotti, egg roll.

Clean local hotel with tasty Sri Lankan local food with reasonable price. Recommend this place for Sri Lankan milk tea, remember to ask Waiter put low sugar.

So disappointed. We have to pay and then only you get your food. And if we want something while we eat, no table service is there to help. We have to get up and pay ( with food in our hand). Because apparently they won't allow paying after you eat. Worst place ever.

This is one of the oldest hotels in the Galle Road between Mt.Lavinia and Panadura few decades back.During early hours lorry drivers who take delivery of bulk items from Colombo to down south, park their vehicles along side the hotel and go in to have their breakfast. As such early mornings the hotel was so crowded. The reasons was the food served by them was delicious.

The hotel opens early in the morning and breakfast is served hot, with spicy curries and mellow soft bread and pastries. Lunch is ready before noon and comprises of a range of local dishes including rice and curry. In the evening the bakery rolls out cakes, cup cakes, white bread, hoppers, white hoppers and a range of crisp pastry items.

The place is spacious and you can also go upstairs to enjoy your meal in peace and quiet. Waiters are not much professional but a good tip would bring out their hospitality. Parking available, but space is limited. During rush hour you can enjoy your food in your vehicle. There are several waiters positioned outside the hotel to serve the parking lot.
