This restaurant has one of the best customer service in Ella ever! Couldn’t be more better! We went there late at night while all other restaurants were closing their kitchen and to our surprise, it was a great choice! We had kottu and drinks! We cane back next night to have curries and butter chicken. Service is great, food is amazingly tasty and enough to satisfy. Recommend it!

I am writing this far too late as I stayed here back in October - however when I stayed the food was delicious, really reasonable and Anula made the whole experience. She was easily the BEST thing about this place and it would not be the same without her. She was welcoming and friendly and really looking out for our group.

Very confused by the bad reviews as the service and food we received were incredible. Fast, attentive, and incredibly nice staff which I would put on par with any restaurant back home. The food was delicious. I’d definitely go back.

Review of cooking class held by La Ella breeze:
The 'cooking' class takes place in a small part of the restaurant suited for 5-6 people maximum.
We had twenty people in our class. There were 6 chopping boards. So no need to wash hands or wear a apron as you're mostly watching. There's an odd chance to cut some vegetables.
To add insult to injury, there's no context provided as to what you're cooking or why.
Definitely a huge rip off as you can basically buy the meal for less that half the price of the cooking class cost.
This is a classic example of the business owners looking to make as much money as possible from their customers.
FYI- I've just noticed a similar review in Jun 2017 with the owner saying they will make changes. Looks like that never happenedresponse / report this review -

Review is for the cooking class alone, with Anula. Incredible food and skills learned to bring back home! A real authentic experience, to enjoy her company and her cooking. She was kind, open and making us laugh from the moment we walked in. Must-do in Ella.

Good staff kindly takecare about their customers.. meals were delicious.. however Bill settlement was late but I suppose that can be ignored due to their kindness.I hope they will correct it. It gives high quality to your business. It's a pleasure they treated us well. Without any doubts.. I can recommend this place. Good luck..

I can safely say that this was the worst eating experience I have ever had and worst meal I have ever eaten. My curry was a tiny 'cold' tasteless watery puddle served with doughy uncooked naan. Surely it had to be a joke but no this was the case with almost every meal at the table. The waiters had to be reminded at least 5 times what the correct meals and drinks were and reminded that half the drinks had not been received over an hour after they were ordered. It was quite an embarrassing performance. Don't waste your time, you could stew up a better meal in a toilet bowl.

Would give 0 stars if I could. Ordered food and they forgot the orders, while we waited and enquired we found the staff didn't really care much. Eventually one of the meals came out cold, probably sat in the kitchen a while. My friend waited another half hour. After complaining 3 or 4 times it eventually came out. Also there was no beer available. It's not the cheapest place either so would expect better service. Better off going to 360 Ella or Chill.

If you are in Ella, you must definitely try this. The place is elegant. Service is also excellent. And also the food.. Delicious. Try their egg hoppers.

Visited their restaurant. The fish kothu had fish bones, prawn tails - did not make for an enjoyable eating experience. My husbands Rotti was very average - more rotti less stuffing. Overall not worth the price.

We ate here twice in the 24 hours we spent in Ella - because we enjoyed the food so much!
We ordered one "Butter Chicken" and one "Sweet and Sour Chicken".
Both came with ample amounts of chicken, which is rare in Sri Lanka especially at establishments like this! Paid around 600-700 per meal. We felt this was worth it!
Also: This place does not charge additional for tax!

Rooms were quite good very spacy and Clean the staff was friendly and helped alot picking food. Really enjoyed the stay. Would recommend to a friend.
