luckily I paid a visit ths temple located close to bibile. there were historical legend about this scared place. it now comes under archeological conservation.
very elegant and nice landscaping. Few reverent bikkus reside there. there is a well with historical values. water comes through a stone and no records its water level is reducing. its annual procession comprises with elephants and other attractive events helds annually.response / report this review -

Kotasara Piyangala Rajamaha Viharaya at Bibile is a ancient temple with the history going as far as the king Devanampiyatissa (250-210 BC) of the Anuradhapura Kingdombased on ancient Chronicles.
