If you are travelling via kithulgala towards hatton ginigathhena, this is one of the best places for a break journey. Its a clean and calm place:serves the three meals and also you can order via there ala cart menue. Food is worth for the money you spend…really pleasent and very attentive staff

It's a quite nice place to be. Really pleasant service, pleasant and tasty food, silent, reliable place. I love there much. But it's a really old place and quality of rooms are poor. But i love the people and food.

Place is good but the staff cannot handle the demand at peak hours. Had to wait more than 10 minutes to get a table even after the payment was done before having the lunch.

The only good thing is the view of Kelani river. Food is terrible and prices and far unreasonable for a low quality food. I think people visit this place for legacy. No food was up to the quality of taste, especially compared to elevated prices. Just don't go there for food.

Gives the feels it's waiting to be renovated (or better to be owned by someone else) in the near future. Like in most other Ceylon Hotel Corporation properties the staff needs other jobs too.
The way these beautiful locations are run is a national crime as you don't get too many locations that could rival this in a small country like Sri Lanka.

Although the location is lovely, the hotel is very much in need of work. We had lots of cockroaches in the room too. The building needs work - this hotel could be much better.
