It's a place of magic, peace and biggg smiles. Keira and Anais along with their super awesome team of brilliant chef's, friendly staff and loving pets have built a paradise here in Kalpitya that is sure to blue your mind. Come here for great food, kite surfing, music, art, smiles and ultimate peace. I loved every bit of it.

Annais and Kiera are one of the nicest most genuinely couples I’ve met! They were always so friendly, and would help us with everything we needed.
The cooking here was to die for! Annais is a Spanish cook so you can get delicious Spanish food, western food, and Sri Lankan food here.
The accommodation is great, you can rent a tent, or stay in a “bungalow” (basically a 5 star hotel room compared to the rest of the hotel rooms in Sri Lanka)
The atmosphere was probably the second best part about this place (first being the owners and staff) There’s always chill unique music playing and at night the grounds transform into a beautifully manicured, perfectly lit space.
Everyone here is very environmentally conscious which is unique for being in Asia, but is quite refreshing to see.
The lagoon beach is a one minute walk from your rooms and the ocean beach is about 5. Sunsets here are spectacular!
All in all an easy 5 stars! I wish I could give them 10.response / report this review -

Fantastic. Great service, food and beverage options. And when they ran out of bananas for the banana split, they gave us a beautiful browny for free instead., Ig you are staying at elements, it can be tricky to get to , but once you know the direct route it is only a 10 minute walk that is well worth that time.

For the discerning outdoor experiential traveller, this is high up on my list of accommodations to check out.
Experience was well worth my trip from Colombo. Great hosts and friendly staff. Overall simple but nicely designed space, which shows how much love can be put into the making of a place.
The food is excellent, and Kitehouse Cafe is worth visiting for the food alone.
Situated in a sort of larger area considered quite sacred, it would be worth spending a few days here at a minimum as it really is a rather magical place.

I would call it a truly amazing and relaxing experience! Having stayed for 4 days in between a blue lagoon and a palm forest and being accompanied by the most welcoming Anais and Keira, my partner and I feel that it was once-in-a-lifetime trip in the magical island of Sri Lanka. Hope to make it a twice-in-a-lifetime in a few years! :)

A friend and I turned up here after a long stint of busy travelling and couldn't have felt more welcomed and at home from the very start ( We turned up pretty late but Anais was still waiting for us :) )! The food was just perfect and reasonably priced and everyone would go out of their way to help us. We even returned back here a few weeks later as we couldn't stay away! Surrounded by beautiful scenery, interesting history and a lovely neighbourhood it couldn't have been more what we needed. Thank you so much guys :)

The best food and ambiance in all of Kalpitya by far. You will feel welcomed as if you are a friend rather than a customer and the food is to die for! The pizzas are amazing, the salads unique and fresh, and the milkshakes are delicious (carrot cake is my favorite!). A lot of love goes into the cooking and into Kite House overall. My only regret is not having enough time nor space in my belly to sample the entire menu! Every time I tried a new dish, it became my new favorite. A few of which include: Caprese pizza, easy breezy salad, funky monkey milkshake, carrot cake milkshake and brownie!

Los dueños son estupendos, Anais es española. Alojamiento economico y cocina occidental y local buenisima, famosos por sus pizzas, paellas, ensaladas cocinan con agua embotellada y tienen cafe de cafetera, esta en un entorno natural con playa alli mismo donde practicar todos los deportes acuaticos
