Awful experience, we had to leave earlier that expected. The rooms were not clean and the walls were full of stains. No good wifi, no hot water and when we asked to have dinner we were told there were no restaurant either, even though they mention it both on the internet and on the sign in front of their hotel. Since we didnt feel confortable we decided to leave but they didnt want us to do so. They told us we "only thought about ourselves" and that we were "selfish" to leave earlier. When we calmy explained them what went wrong they didnt listen and simply blamed us for leaving (saying that we didnt see the sign "hot water" in front of their hotel when we booked so they didnt understand why we expected hot water anyway..). They wanted us to pay for the three night, we refused since we only stayed for one night. They made us pay 15$ to let us leave anyway. Bad people, bad place. Dont go there.

Stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka. It was actually our first beach destination after travelling through the West and the central parts of SL.
The beach is fantastic one of the better ones we've seen during our time so far after continuing down the coast.
The resort itself isn't something I would recommend to you. The carpet is just a bad choice, the hot water does not work, the wifi never worked and we just had to purchase data instead, the bed was a little uncomfortable and the walls had stains on them.
The people who worked there do appear to be nice and I'm sure they are nice but don't give a very welcoming feel. There were too many times where I felt like it was just the manager hanging around with his friends.
It doesn't feel professional and I think if you were to stay somewhere I'd reconsider before booking here.response / report this review -

Ich hatte das Zimmer 103. Das war sauber und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Im Ganzen war das Zimmer eher lieblos eingerichtet. Aber für 21 € mit Klimaanlage kann man nicht viel mehr erwarten.
Das Zimmer grenzt wohl an den Waschbereich des Personals. Da kann man morgens gut hören wie sie duschen. Ebenso das für die Gegend normale rotzen.
Leider war der Meerblick durch aufgehängte Wäsche versperrt.
Die Jungs sind sehr freundlich und sehr bemüht die Anlage in Schuss zu halten.
Die gesamte Anlage war erfreuliche leise.response / report this review -

The place is perfect if your are looking for a basic accommodation right at the beach. Rooms are clean, ac is working well, the staff is nice and the breakfast gets you going for half a day. The young team is still working on the resort and the amnesties, but we decided to extend the stay here as we like the atmosphere. The room prices are really good, considering the average price of tangalle. Don't expect a luxury spa tho, if you want something like that you have to pay the price ;) we enjoy our stay a lot here!
