This place is a tourist trap. It is expensive and difficult to get to. My 7 year old daughter loved it though. She really enjoyed the dances and all of the excitement. She did comment that there was no one "local" in the audience. It was empty when we went. We arrived 10 minutes late and still got a place in the front row. It can be quite costly to get a tuk tuk to take you back down to town from the lodge. We walked and it was and easy 30 minutes.

Had a great time! Loved that it was a bar there as well. The show was really good and I'm happy they give you a programme to explain each dance. We really enjoyed it!

There were about twelve dances each lasting 4-5 minutes which gave us a great taste of Kandyian dance. The enthusiastic dancers changed costume several times and were obviously proud of their traditional dances and instruments. Beer and other drinks were served at start and in the interval. A very memorable and enjoyable experience.

Brilliant show of traditional dancing. The plate spinners were excellent and the dancing was sublime. If you have an evening free in Kandy I'd go dancing..

    WOW!
At first it is nice traditional "kitschy" folklore.
At second they start to impress you.
By the end of the show, I got a lot of respect for the performance!

Good insight into various local dances. Very entertaining, with a one pager printout to help follow what’s going on. Show is 1 hour long and costs 1000rupees. Do whatsapp in advance to book front row seats (helped as we were late).

Very entertaining dance show, really love the costumes and very impressive with some of the acrobatics. The dancers looked very smiley and were very good. At the end there were fire walking as well which was impressive. The drinks were a bit over priced.

I don't quite understand the good reviews as the show we saw here was terrible. Very amatuer and certainly wouldn't be shown on stage in Western countries. There was only one or two good dancers and the rest really looked like they did not want to be there. No locals at the show, only Westerners. The firewalking at the end was pretty cool though.

Fantastic! A brilliant and authentic Kandyan Dance Show that was performed with such pride and passion. We were so pleased to catch the show and loved seeing the costumes and extravagant dance routines. At a little over £5 each, it was a bargain and a real highlight of our time in Kandy - don't miss it!

The dance/music show lasts about an hour and is a bit like a secondary school performance- i.e. a bit naff and the dancers all look embarrassed to be there. 1000 rupees per ticket so it's a bit of a rip off.

Really good dancing show. You can see the enjoyment in the eyes of the dancers. Don't mistake this Dancing show with the bad one at the lake. This one is only a few minutes walking up the hill. Nice views from up here also.

Very good traditional dance show. Lots of dancers with great costumes and good vibes. It takes about 1 hour which is enough. Highly recommended to end a day with.

The show doesn't seem traditional. More like a good way to get tourists' money.

The best show you can see in Kandy. Much better than Red Cross or another venues.
