Please stay away!

Although the tour itself is informative it's just a sales gimmic to lure you into buying remedies.

They also double charged my card. They are excessively over priced.

It's a shame as a group of people like this is a bad name for Sri Lankan tourism.

Beware excessive pricings, untrustworthy, Bandits, robbers, charge for more products than you actually receive, wont refund the overcharge, they pretend their boss in Colombo wont let them refund any overcharge when the managers overcharge on a local level.

The tour was basically an extended sales pitch - we were shown about 20 plants and the focus was on the ayurvedic treatments created from them. That's fine if it's your thing, but don't expect extensive descriptions of plant biology and growth habits or descriptions of how they turn plants into the various products they have for sale. The tour ended with being ushered into the shop for another description of all their products. If you buy with a credit card, expect a 3% surcharge.

Also, the garden is located next to a lake and the grounds were covered with many puddles. We encountered the most daytime mosquitos there of any place visited so far, but we've stayed mostly along the coast so maybe it's not a fair comparison.

Seems like a mildly interesting place worth 30 minutes of your time if you're on the way somewhere and don't have a better plan.

Fake people sale fake products with total crazy prices. Cheaters!!! Never again. Everything is fake. They only know how speaking with tourists. They have many nice stories :-) Never again.

I could this place to be super interesting with great service. Many of the products seem quite good and the boat Safari is worth the money especially if you have a bigger group.

1000 Rupies for 15min massage is too expensive.
Other places offer 60 min massage for 2500 Rupies.
Also they offer hair removal paste which is actually "Veet" repacked to some small 60ml bottle and they sell it as "miracle" treatment.

They afford for one bottle 4000 rupies, and they sugest to buy 10 bottles of that paste.

They also offer all kind of magic liquids, which help to "Get better memory" "Lose 5kg of weight in 20 days" and so on.

They offer also boat trip, which is very expensive. -not suggesting.
You can get better price for boat trip on "Mirissa Eco Lagoon Safari" which costs 3000 rupies.(Transport included from hotel to the boat and back).

My opinion: Don't even think to visit that place - total scam.
Or: You can visit and listen but don't buy anything and don't take any service from them.

Liked the tour. Guy spoke amazing German. Interesting and knowledgable. Aloe Vera creme we bought worked extremely well.
