So authentic! All food is organic, much is grown right here on the premises. Amazing hospitality. Highly recommend!

After long days of bad food in Polonnaruwa, we finally ended up here and hey - what a wonderful place! The owner greeted us kindly, explained the food to us and served us one of the best meals I ate in Sri Lanka. We had a three course meal with a big curry as main dish and I was so happy with it. Delicious! I also liked the atmosphere of the place, we sat at a river, enjoyed the sunset and relaxed.
There were a lot of mosquitos when we visited (after 4 days of heavy rain).
Anyway: Highly recommended! Go there! Eat there! Thanks to the host for the great dinner!

Excellent food all natural with no added preservatives or anything that’s artificial. Excellent hospitality. Cleanliness is just as excellent as everything else. Would without a doubt recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting polonaruwa.

Great Sri Lanka food. It is a buffet with the really spicy dishes clearly indicated.All dishes were really tasty and the price is quite low. Service is really friendly. If you sit close to the river you can see some water monitors very close.

Jaga Food was the best food experience in Sri Lanka (December 2017) This is a family business, growing all organic ingredients by themselves. Jaga is passionate about the food he is making and the service was outstanding. 12 different types of dishes were put on our table - all of them were delicious (the 13th was extra hot I skipped that one :) ) Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Very friendly service. Nice grounds with messages from previous travelers written on walls and ceiling. The place is inward from the street, so just follow the signs.
