  We didn't book the guesthouse. However we discovered they have the best restaurant in Polonnaruwa to enjoy a meal!
  The friendly waiter and lovely owner take you all the way to the back where this is a little garden. Far away from the noisy street. Under a wall covered by dozens of Gekko's you will enjoy real authentic food for a very cheap price. We ate 3 times there!
  The gekko's are really useful as they keep eating al the insects buzzing around.

  This a good valued restaurant that does a nice albeit spicy vegetarian buffet along with the usual food you get in Sri Lanka. It's well located and good value.
