  A platform created by late Prof. J. N. O. Fernando to pursue undergraduate studies in chemistry for anyone interested in this fascinating subject. This is not yet another "private degree shop". You have to be competent in the things you learn and earn your degree/qualification through passing exams. The cost is reasonable too. Even though there are things to improve, this place is one of the very few non-state institutions that does not sell degrees. I am forever grateful to late Prof. J. N. O. Fernando for initiating this wonderful platform.

  If you're a chemistry enthusiast this the best place for you to learn and enjoy chemistry for an affordable price. You can broaden your horizons in theory as well as in practical and get recognized for your BSc degree or graduateship anywhere you go. I strongly recommend Institute of Chemistry Ceylon for anyone who is choosing chemistry as their passion

  It is a good place for learning chemistry. The lecturers who are teaching has a large knowledge on chemistry and helpful in studies and can ask questions with out a fear.
  There are many opportunities in ichem for further studies and helps students with any financial difficulty. Gives bursaries and other opportunities.
  Learning chemistry at ichem provides good knowledge.

  Worst education institute in SL. Management team avaricious for money. There are no any chance to apply re correction for your exam. If going to retake the exam, prices are so high. Kindly go to other alternative higher education institutes, it will save your valuable time and money.
