One of the leading postgraduate institutions in Sri Lanka. I did my postgraduate diploma in Archaeology here in 2007.

This institution conducts postgraduate diplomas, MA, MSc taught courses in Archaeology and Museology. They are offering MPhil and PhD research degrees in same subjects.

The library of the institute is one of the best reference libraries in Sri Lanka for archaeological studies. To use the library as a member of public, you must get monthly membership. For the students of other universities can use the library on Thursdays.

The publications of the institute can be bought from the library.
