Once upon a time it was the best cinema theatre in kurunegala and sub urbs, but recently they have increased Ticket charges and bookings are available so there is a huge chaos inside the theatre when it comes into a big movie. Not all people book tickets online and not all people can afford a lot when it comes to watch a family with movie, so they prefer buying tickets at the counter, afterwards they give front row seats which cant be really an enjoyable place to watch the movie and no A/C in front few rows so they prioritise online bookings. Smoking is happening all the time but no one from the staff cares it really iritates other people from watching the movie. When we tell something for smokers it turns to a fight inside theatre and outside also so proper rules should be impimented asap.

Balcony chair levels are not perfect. You can see the top portion of the head of the people sitting in front of you making you miss the bottom half of the movie screen. Sounds aren't great but passable.

Good theatre to experience high definition movies

I personally felt the brightness should’ve been little bit high and sound too

Other than that its a good theatre with good seat comfort

- the seat height for every row is not too much which is a huge drawback, the head of person sitting in front of us will be an obstacle to watch the movie with focus..

Sound : 7/10
Seat comfort : 7/10
Seat slide : 0/10
Seat height for every row : 3/10
A/C : 5/10
Ticket experience : 2/10

Popcorn price: 200/-

Ticket: 400/- ticket sold for 700/- at 11th day of Leo movie

Another drawback was the ticket price… the price of the ticket was mentioned as 400/- in the ticket but they demanded 700/- for ODC full for the leo movie on 11th day of movie release.

This is pure scam to avoid.. if the ticket price is 700/- then spend a little to mention it as 700/- in the ticket as well.

Below were the exact words from the counter person after I handed him 400/- :
“Ticket price for this show is 700/- not 400/-”

Theatre owner’s should avoid these kinda selective scams specially on the 2nd week of big movie…

The only movie theatre with AC in Kurunegala. The seats are comfortable enough. Sounds and screen aren't comparable to high-end cinemas but has decent quality.

Ticket prices are highly affordable:
ODC : 400
ODC Box : 600
Balcony : 500

Bringing in outside food is not prohibited which is a great plus. The in-house food store sells ice creams, pop corn, snacks and drinks.

The mens washrooms requires some renovations.

This cinema hall was good and it was air conditioned.The fee for a full ticket for the balcony of 3D cinema is 450 Sri Lankan rupees.But the 3D glass was not clear otherwise it is perfect

Love this Place. I watch movies from this theatre since I was a teen and this place is the best that I know of. Food is good. Audio Video quality is not bad! Nothing to complain. Love it!

Sound loudness should be improved immediately. Quality of the sound is fine but it should be more loud. Air conditioning is “ok”. Nothing to complain about the picture quality but it’s annoying when they sometimes don’t show end credit scenes of some movies.

Best cinema hall in Kurunegala. Equipped with a 2K projector and Dolby 7.1 souds, it deliver a solid experience for 3D and 2D films. Fully air conditioned. The seats in the Balcony are upgraded. Only the ODC requires an update.

Will charge you LKR 50 for vehicle parking and LKR 20 for Motor Bikes.

ODC is LKR 300. Balcony is LKR 400. For 3D films, they will charge an additional LKR 50.

Great audio and visuals, with Dolby Surround 7.1 and 2K Digital 3D Projection. Fully air-conditioned. The only cons about the place are the seats which could use an upgrade and the 3D glasses which are not maintained properly; many have scratches on the lenses. But given the alternatives, the best place to see a movie in Kurunegala.

May not be the best cinema in Sri Lanka. But i watched Bat Man Vs Super Man for only 300RS with A/C and the quality was Good. If it is in Colombo then i would have to pay 1000 or above. So i won't hesitate to recommend this to someone else.
