Easy to access hotel near the main road.Large parking space available even though it is located bit far from the hotel premises. Average looking banquet hall with space and tasty foods.Good place to have a function held.

The room was comfortable and very nice. The pool is beautiful, and their food is good too. And it is conveniently located bear the station. The only down side is that it is more one of the more expensive places in town.

Good enough service to me. A very good friendly staff they have.
Food also delicious, but not more varieties were there.

Clean Rooms – Food Mediocre – Impersonal Service
My wife and I checked in at Kandyan Reach Hotel on 3rd January 2018 and we spent three nights here leaving early on the 6th. We pre-booked superior rooms and were promptly allocated rooms on arrival. The rooms were clean and reasonably spacious. Bedding and towels were spotless. The bathroom too was sparkling. There was free Wi-Fi, fridge, kettle, hair dryer, tv, a safe and all that you would normally expect from a hotel of this nature. We parked our car on the side of the hotel and felt it was safe as there were guards throughout the night in the adjoining guard room.
The restaurant was on the ground floor. We had lunch here twice on 3rd and 4h January 2018. The dining room was quite full, as it is open to the public. The service was buffet style mainly aimed at Sri Lankans. The food from a sri Lankan point of view were tasty. However, when we went for dinner, we found almost the same menu, presumably the leftovers from lunch. We therefore ordered our food from the menu. Although we ordered the food after we visited the restaurant, the meals served were not warm! Although we complained to the staff it was to no avail. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant close by and we were forced to have dinner here on all three days.
The attitude of the staff appeared to be rather impersponal. It appeared that they were doing their job and not making an effort to go the extra distance to please the guests.
The restaurant had a well-stocked bar. I understand that they are in the process of upgrading their rooms. Please ask for a refurbished room when booking even though the price may be higher.response / report this review -

Have stopped here a couple of times for breakfast/lunch. Though the buffet spread is a touch limited, the quality is good. Service is very good with well trained staff and wash rooms are clean and spacious. Overall very covenient stop over for meals.

One of the good cheap hotels to stay in Kuruneagala. Rooms are big but bit aged and has to be refurbished. Good swimming pool. Good food.

A nice place situated close to the Kurunegala city limits. Great food, and efficient staff. Absolutely worth the cost. The rooms are quite large compared to most of the star class hotels in Colombo, but the cleanliness has to be improved. I'd like to recommend a renovation to the rooms which will surely bring a competitive advantage to the hotel.
