Some people there were very nice and helpful, some gave a weird vibe. All in all it was fine but kind of expensive for what it was. I was annoyed by some extra charges, like 150rs for a bottle of water that the real price of 70rs was printed on, or 500 to turn the AC on that was already in my room.

I'll think twice if I am going to stay here again. Paid extra for AC, but just the noise, no cool. Time to time AC gets auto off, looks like owners off them from outside, it happened on both rooms we booked. Couldn't even sleep due to hotness inside the room and the noisy AC. Blocked drain in the Bathroom. Finally NO hot water in the morning, had a very cold shower. Not a good place to be.

The stuff is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The traditional food is offered for a good price and is super delicious.
I had a room without AC, my own bathroom and wifi in the room. For this price the rooms are pretty good for sri lanka, clean and comfy.

Good food and friendly staff. But the rooms should be improved. the Ac was working like a rick mill all night. So we had to switch off.

The great thing about accommodations in Sri Lanka is majority of them are guest houses, and a few small hotels, and because of this we were able to directly support local business owners. Everywhere we stayed we had breakfast included – it was both convenient and delicious. The hosts were always flexible on offering continental or local breakfast options.

The hosts are what made our stay in Sri Lanka both comfortable and memorable. They were always aiming to accommodate your needs, making sure you were as comfortable as you can be with what they have to offer – they have been great examples of the wonderful hospitality you hear about in Sri Lanka. They (along with the Tuk Tuk drivers) are also a wealth of information, don’t underestimate them, and feel free to ask about anything and everything.

The hotel offers basic rooms; we had AC and our own shower (we had a few critter encounters, something to expect when staying in lush greenery environments). The best part about this hotel was the staff, who has been there for at least 10 years, and the restaurant. The cook quickly became an acquaintance and cooked delicious meals! We definitely enjoyed his company during our stay. We did encounter some challenges using the Wi-Fi here, it was spotty and we generally used it at the restaurant as we could not connect in our room.
