Upon arrival my friends and I were greeted by a very friendly staff. They gave us delicious juice! We enjoyed the ac rooms, great WiFi, and light up disco dance floor! This hotel has a spectacular rooftop view with a pool! We had lots of space to lounge on the 3rd floor. The bathrooms were clean with great water pressure and temperature. We stayed a week and the the staff was happy to service us with changing of Linen, towels, and supplies. Super close beach access and not noisy or too close to the bustling city center. A fortress of comfort and relaxation.

AC doesn't work. We were shown three rooms, however all the other rooms AC were not working properly. The ceilings have molds on them and there is STRONG odour from the mold. People go out for food as the restaurant takes ages to serve food. Disappointing experience. We read past reviews before booking, however it seems that the property isn't maintained properly hence the above issues.

A good place to stay. Conveniently located. Many restaurants nearby. Beach is 5 min walk away. The hotel has a pool at the rooftop. The beach is visible from the top floor where it is nice and breezy. We stayed only for a night but felt it had all the necessary requisites for a comfortable stay.

This Hotel is really superb. The staff are very helpful. The food is excellent. I should also mention about the pub. Great. On the hold the Hotel is excellent.

Very good place to stay. Prices are very low. I could got a triple superior room with 5775 lkr.total cost with taxes was 7110.00 only. Rooms are very good. Clean and tidy. Mini bar is available in the room on requeat.
Roof top swiming pool is the grate aminity available. There is a bar near to pool. Not much crowded. You can swim as your own pool.
Staff is very supportive. No any interference, but they are available 24 hours for requests.
Found two problems in the room. But little ones. TV attahed to the room was not clear. Thery may attend fast to correct it if i request. But i didnt ask to. Second one is wash roomcondition. I think they can upgrade them with out much investment.response / report this review -

Really nice rooms with all facilities like flat screen TV, mini-fridge, hot water, nice breakfast, and even a swimming pool and bar, for very low costs (can bargain), I got a great double room for only $30 including taxes and breakfast! Oh, and maybe 100 metres from the beach!!!

😍😍😍it was really a nice great experience We enjoyed both breakfast and lunch well.. And the staff, specialy the manager was very friendly and loving.. Even the food was superb!!!! Room was excellent and well arrenged.. Hope to visit sooon back***😊😊😊😊

Отличный отель. Персонал очень отзывчив и всегда готов протянуть руку помощи. Бассейн на крыше - приятный плюс. Отличное месторасположение - рядом проходит основная дорожная артерия всего острова, международный аэропорт, море и много позитива)

Royal Castle is Refurbished modern property set in the heart of Negombo. Nice swimming pool on the roof can get nice city view & free Wi-Fi access.
Rooms are super nice. Very clean Place & friendly and helpfull staff

Royal castle hotel is in good location by the beach of Negambo Rooms are fine . Pool is very nice . Staffs are well trained . Street in front of the hotel is interesting activity and nice little restaurants.This is a great way to kick off a Sri Lankan holiday.rooms are spacious and well-designed. :)
