The place looks fine, but definitely not the food.
We ordered chapati , paneer masala , channa masala and lime soda.
The chapathi was very hard and dry.
Paneer in the paneer masala was bad.
Channa masala was ok.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Service level is excellent. Delicious food. Very good place have day or night function for a reasonable price.

A very good place for a night out with friends to enjoy quality food and away from all the noise. There are reception halls here and we have used it for corporate event several times. The food is very good given their low rates and place has a nice elegant look to it. The restaurant is also a spacious one and very nice during night. Place is more popular among foreign travelers compared to locals.

Enjoyable a la carte meal with generous portions. Staff friendly. White wine a little warm. Brought out a birthday cake and sparklers for those celebrating in our group.

Finally, after the tiring and walking non-stop day, we arrived at Hotel Kandyan Arts Residency for a night’s stay and dinner. Offering quite a selection of traditional Sri Lankan spread, we heartily tucked in, rested for a while and adjourned to the well maintained clean room with most basic amenities. However, I was told wifi connection is only at the reception area. Anyway, once I showered, before I knew, I was already sound asleep.

Well spread out buffet with both srilankan nd continental cuisine. I only tried local food. It was very good. Most places here if u order for nonveg curry rice they serve 2 vegetable dishes dal papad nd salad as accompaniment
