Lush tropical surroundings, large immaculate rooms with very comfy beds, premium liquors, delicious buffets so much better than most other resorts. Very relaxing atmosphere, wonderful employees!

This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are charming , helpful and smiley, nothing is too much trouble. The food is exceptional and very reasonably priced.
The rooms are clean and well furnished. The atmosphere is magical.
Hotel Flower Garden is a hidden gem, the owner is a very friendly man who understands the needs of his hotel guests and goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is memorable.

Perfect resort with 2 pools that invite you for a quick dip to escape the heat. We had the deluxe room for 39€, which was big in size also bathroom was super clean. TV present in room with satellite channels and a small fridge. Breakfast from 8am till 11am was very good with different choices.

Overall its good. But few thibgs put me off. Like no proper parking facilities. Finding the place as no name board even though google map gave exact location. Rooms are very spacious. I was with kids who enjoyed the big pools& The fish aquarium. Stayed 1 night on half board. Meals were tasty. Very quiet.

Only been here for food though I met with someone staying there and it's a lovely hotel. Great chalets and a couple of pools. Very friendly and helpful staff. Set back off the main street so relatively quiet and surrounded by trees so often see monkeys in the mornings.

We (including 6 girls) stayed there for one night. In the middle of the night just after we had returned to our rooms, we saw a person peeping through our bathroom window and it was obvious that he came noticing our return. He was getting the view standing on the wall, and the ladder was still there from the hotel premises's side.He was sweeping the window using a similar hand towel the hotel provided us. It was obvious he was a staff member. When we complained, a security guard came and he accepted that there was no one guarding the area. The staff first tried to cover the thing up by providing superior facilities but we decided to leave as the security was unsatisfactory. The security guard and the other staff members had controversial comments. The staff acted so indecently, there wasn't a single responsible person to talk with, asked us to accept it as a really simple and general situation, and they called us 'CHEATERS' and that we were making a drama to get rid of the payments. We left there immediately, after paying for our stay and all other facilities AT 2am!

Great new pool but careful with the rooms you choose. The "Deluxe Cabanas" er old, run-down and dark. We simply couldn't see ourselves hanging out there. These cabanas are facing the old pool which is under construction. So we asked for an upgrade (at a whopping 30 dollars per night) to "Super Deluxe Cabanas" which are a lot better - but "Super" is a big word: no hot water in bathroom sink, A/C and fan had 1 speed and 1 temperature in working order. But quite cozy, huge bed and spacious. Breakfast is good but the rest of the food is horrible. Laundry service stands out - very good! Overall, though, a big disappointment and easily the worst hotel on our 5 week tour of the Island.

Charming hotel away from the hustle of Unawatuna Beach. Very clean. Spacious rooms with balconies. A comfortable place to make a base from which to explore the area. Great food. Very accommodating staff.
